Curation © 2021

Curation was the last university project I had to work on. As part of a team of 9, we all played a part in constructing a museum management simulator for our client, Frontier Games, who are responsible for the titular releases such as "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3" or "Planet Zoo". My role on the project was being the Lead Game Designer, which meant I worked closely with the client, producers and the rest of the team to guide the creative and gameplay direction of the project. We had a primary focus on user-centric design, and throughout development, I majorly influenced the GTM strategy/end product, the production process, as well as our approach to quality assurance and testing.
This project was extremely successful, smashing all of our brief requirements and exceeding our client's expectations. Such a good job, that we took the game to Barclay's national "Game Frenzy 2024" as part of an educational highlight, and we've since been put forward for an educational TIGA award!
